The Outdoor Trend Module Lounge in Sunbrella Unwind brings one of Australia’s most enduring furniture designs outdoors in a beautifully relaxed stripe created for life in the sun.

Available in two distinctive colourways — Cameo, a warm, sun-washed blush and heathered brown stripe, and Rainwashed, a fresh, softly coastal blue stripe — Unwind gives the sculptural form of the Trend a completely new personality.

Playful without being loud, the stripe feels nostalgic and contemporary all at once.

An Australian design icon, made for outdoors

Designed by Peter Brown in 1970, the Trend Lounge responded to the emerging move towards modular furniture, combining a visually captivating sculptural form with a light visual footprint and exceptional comfort.

More than fifty years later, the Trend remains remarkably contemporary.

Reimagined for outdoor living, the Outdoor Trend Lounge is designed for long afternoons beside the pool, a sunny terrace, contemporary courtyard or covered verandah — bringing the comfort and design presence of an interior lounge into the Australian outdoors.

Each Trend is made to order in Adelaide and hand-finished to the exacting standards long associated with TH Brown — Australia’s oldest furniture brand.

Even the foam continues the story. Our Dunlop foams are made in Adelaide by the same supplier that produced foam for the original TH Brown pieces.

Sunbrella Unwind

The beauty of Unwind is that its relaxed, tactile appearance doesn't come at the expense of outdoor performance.

Its casual stripe and subtle faux-linen slub give the fabric the appearance and character of natural linen, while Sunbrella performance construction makes it ideally suited to outdoor living.

Choose from:

Unwind Cameo — a soft blush tone combined with heathered brown stripes. Warm, sophisticated and a little unexpected, with a distinctly Palm Springs sensibility.

Unwind Rainwashed — a fresh, relaxed blue-and-light stripe with a softer coastal character, designed to sit beautifully within contemporary Australian outdoor spaces.

At its centre sits TH Brown’s Outdoor Trend Module Lounge and Footstool in Mallacoota Ash. With its low, confident lines and subtle detailing, it grounds the space without overwhelming it. “We wanted it to feel calm but luxurious,” says Tam. “This piece gave us that it just fit.”

All glass components are made locally in each state of Australia, supporting local makers and reducing transport impact.
