First released in the mid-60s, the Cuban Coffee Table captured a shift in how Australians lived. Lighter spaces. Open plans. Furniture that felt elegant rather than heavy.

Peter Brown’s answer was a coffee table that combined softness and strength. The elongated D-end top introduces gentle curves, while beneath, sculpted legs and a subtly curved stretcher form an engineered foundation that feels almost weightless.

It’s this interplay. Solid timber shaped into flowing form. That gives the Cuban its quiet drama.

Reissued today from the TH Brown back catalogue, the Cuban celebrates our ongoing commitment to preserving great Australian design. Each piece is crafted with care in Adelaide, using sustainable materials and traditional manufacturing techniques, ensuring it will last for generations.

This release is strictly limited.
Produced predominantly in Teak, with a small allocation available in Dark Ash.

Once sold through, this edition will close. Future production in late 2026 or early 2027 will be carefully considered based on demand.
