Designed by Peter Brown in 1970, the Trend was created at a time when Australian interiors were embracing a more relaxed, modular way of living. More than fifty years later, its sculptural form, generous comfort and distinctive tubular frame remain remarkably contemporary.
Originally conceived as an interior piece, the Trend was later reimagined by TH Brown for outdoor living — allowing one of our most recognisable Australian designs to move beyond the living room and onto terraces, verandahs and poolside spaces.
The Outdoor Trend Footstool was designed to sit naturally alongside the Lounge, sharing its sculptural form, generous cushioning and unmistakable character. In Sunbrella Unwind Cameo, paired with a custom Pink Sand powder-coated frame, it takes on a softer, sun-washed personality — a little Palm Springs, a little Australian summer.
Made to order in Adelaide, South Australia, the Footstool combines Sunbrella outdoor performance fabric with outdoor-ready materials and local craftsmanship. Use it as a footrest, an occasional seat or simply as the finishing piece alongside the Outdoor Trend Lounge.
